COLOMBO: Pakistan, one of the tournament favourites, slumped to a well below 184 runs off 43 overs against the unfancied Canada in their World Cup Group A match on 03 March 2011.
Winning the toss and taking first use of the pitch, Pakistan could not get their batting rhythm going and lost wickets at regular intervals.
They slumped to 67-4 before Misbah-ul-Haq (37runs) and top scorer Umar Akmal (48runs) posted the best partnership of the innings with 73 for the 5th wicket.
Despite the under par showing, Pakistan bowled Canada out for 138 runs, winning the Group A clash by 46 runs on Thursday to record their third win out of three at the World Cup 2011.
