T20 champion Pakistan lost the 1st match of 2010.

Australia completed a summer clean sweep of Pakistan with help of fast bowler Shaun Tait sent the Paki cricket team home with one last defeat in the T20 match clash at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 05 Feb 2010.
Left arm "Dirk Nannes" and "Shane Watson" bowled brilliantly and conceded 9 runs in the final two overs as Pakistan finished 125-9, even though Mohammad Asif hit the last ball for 4run.
Tait also struck in his 3rd over when his Captain Michael Clarke needed one last effort in the 15th over, he removed the dangerous Kamran Akmal, whose 64 from 33 balls had the tourists headed for a breakthrough win.
Umar Akmal (21runs) out to long on by Watson, as Pakistan began the over needing 10 runs to win.
From Australian side skipper Michael Clarke (32runs), David Warner (24runs) and David Hussey (40 not out) reached double figures.
From tourist side some good bowling from Umar Gul (3-20) and captain Shoaib Malik (2-31) and sharp fielding by Fawad and umar Akmal, which included 3 run outs.
But Australia were even better with the ball, as besides Tait, Nannes, Shane Watson (2-24) and Mitchell Johnson all bowled timely maidens.
Stadium was full with Cricket fans (over 60,000) it was the biggest crowed of the season.
Man of the Match "Tait" was the star with 3-11.
